Biography Ivan Golunov
Golunov was detained during the day of June 6, approximately in him he went to meet with journalist Ilya Vasyunin, when two young people in civilian clothes ran to him from behind. They informed Golunov that he was detained, handcuffed him, put them in the car and took him to the department. In the department, Golunov demanded that he be given a lawyer and relatives, but the security forces replied that the lawyer was not required at this stage.
After that, an inspection began. The police quickly found a rectangular bag with some colorful substance in the journalist’s backpack. Later, a chemical forensic examination found that it was Mephedron. Golunov continued to insist on calling a lawyer, according to him, he grabbed the chair, and the police began to pull his hands, after which they fell to the floor.
At that moment, Golunov hit his head on the step. But he was not allowed to get up, and instead they dragged on the floor, they began to kick their feet in the chest and hit his fist in the face. At about 4 o’clock in the morning of the next day, the police contacted Golunov’s friend, a BBC journalist Svetlana Reuters, and invited her to look for a lawyer. Until that moment, no one even suspected that Golunov was in the police.
Suddenly, Golunov really had drugs?
It could be easily checked. Typically, in such cases, police conduct a special examination - flushes from the hands and sections of the edges of the nail plates. Based on the results, it should be seen whether a person had contact with drugs. But for some reason, Golunov did not conduct this examination. Even after he himself asked about it. On the evening of June 7, the media wrote about the refusal to conduct an examination.
And after this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs was justified by the fact that Golunov himself did not want to conduct it. This is a rather strange statement, because usually no one asks for detainees. As a result, the examination was still conducted after members of the public observation commission came to Golunov. Golunov’s friends and relatives say that for health reasons he could not take any drugs or alcohol.
Many also indicate that it is even theoretically impossible to accept substances and continue to work as much and as well as Golunov worked. In addition, the confusion with the number of drugs, which was found in Golunov, looks rather strange. At first, the police said that the journalist had five bags in the backpack, but after the examination, their number for some reason was reduced to two.
The remaining three packages later were found during a search in the apartment of a journalist. How did the search end in his apartment? At noon on June 7, the Moscow Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that during a search in the apartment of Golunov, operatives found a whole drug laboratory. As proof, it published nine photographs in which packages with different substances are visible, drug manufacturing equipment, notes with recipes and scales.
But the friends and neighbors of the journalist immediately noticed that in eight pictures out of nine are definitely not his apartment. A couple of hours later, the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs once again confirmed that all published photos were taken in the apartment of Golunov in the presence of witnesses. However, in the afternoon, the version of the department still changed.
It admitted that eight photographs with all equipment and substances were taken as part of another case to capture a group of drug dealers. And they fell into the case of Golunov because the police suspect him of relations with these criminals. Photos from someone else's drug laboratory: the only photograph taken at Golunov at home: what is the Golunov in the end accused?
Investigators charged Golunov under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph “G” of part 4 of article threatens him with a punishment of 10 to 20 years in prison. In what conditions was it contained? Golunov was kept in conclusion much longer than it was established by law. The actual detention occurred on June 6, but legally it was issued only on June 7, that is, 13 hours later.
Thus, instead of 48 hours, Golunov spent 61 hours in custody. According to lawyers and human rights activists, the entire period of detention of Kolunov was in very poor condition. He did not sleep and did not eat the first day, the employees of the insulator refused to hand over his products from relatives. He did not specifically touch the food that was given in the isolator, because he was afraid that drugs could mix it in it.
In addition, the police did not allow him to confidentially communicate with his lawyers, although he has legal right to this. Instead, they had to talk in a whisper in the presence of employees of the insulator. Golunov at the same time remained handcuffed to the wall. Lawyer Pavel Chikov filed a motion to conduct a forensic medical examination in order to record traces of beatings from Golunov, but the investigator refused.
At the same time, the well -being of the journalist continued to deteriorate. According to lawyer Dmitry Julia, he reacted poorly, did not understand what was happening, did not understand the essence of the accusations and could not testify. Is there evidence that Golunov was beaten? On Saturday, an ambulance was called to Golunov several times. The investigator simply refused to skip the first brigade.
The second brigade was still missed. She put Kolunova suspicion of a concussion and a fracture of Riber, as well as multiple bruises and hematomas of the occipital part of the head. The doctors said that Golunov needed to urgently hospitalize, but the head of the investigation refused to let him go. Instead, he demanded to call the third brigade to confirm the diagnosis of the second.
According to Julia, when the third brigade arrived, he began to exert pressure on her and object to hospitalization. But she still confirmed the diagnosis and insisted to take Golunov to the hospital. What did the doctors say? After all the tests, the head physician Alexander Myasnikov stated that Golunov was not discovered by serious injuries and fractures: “He was examined by a traumatologist, the therapist, he examined the surgeon, we made a computed tomography of the head, took blood for analysis.
According to reports, we have no reason for his further stay in the hospital. ” Alexander Myasnikov in glasses at a rally in support of Vladimir Putin on March 3 of the year. Lawyers and human rights activists do not trust the conclusion of the head physician Myasnikov, because he almost certainly has connections with officials against whom Golunov wrote his investigations.
Now he is a member of the Public Chamber of Moscow. In addition, in the year, Myasnikov lit up in a loud scandal about the public procurement of cancer drugs at high prices. Then the blogger Stalik Khankishiev accused the Moscow Health Department of a waste of more than a million rubles, and the butchers publicly advocated officials. How was the court to choose a preventive measure?
While Golunov was in the hospital, the investigator’s petition for the imprisonment of the journalist under custody was received in the Nikulinsky court. Therefore, he was taken from the hospital immediately to the meeting. The court refused the preventive measure proposed by the investigator and instead sent Golunov under house arrest for two months. All this time, he will be forbidden to leave his apartment, use communications and communicate with people undergoing business.
At the trial, Golunov said that he was innocent: “I have never used drugs, I am not to blame for anything and is ready to cooperate with the investigation if it adheres to honest rules of the game.” Photo: Evgeny Feldman for "Medusa" Why is it all happening?
