Graduates of the flight school simply could not fly. Oleg even planned to return home and go to the factory by a simple worker. However, the wife convinced Peshkov that the pilot must fly.

After graduating from the school, the military career went to Kyrgyzstan on distribution. Here, the professional biography of Oleg Peshkov began. He began to work at the airport in the city of Kant. Although the country has already gained independence, Oleg continued to work on a military Russian base in accordance with international treaties. Gelena fell in love with a stately pilot at first sight, but Oleg himself did not immediately see the future second half of the girl.

Oleg managed to marry and divorce before he began to meet with Gelena. However, at first, the personal life of the couple did not work out so rosy. When Oleg drew attention to Gelena, she already began to shun the young man. The stately pilot was very popular among local girls, and Gelena was not going to give his heart to the hands of such an unreliable man. However, Oleg's stubborn courtship was eventually able to convince the girl of the sincerity of Peshkov’s feelings.

Oleg Peshkov and his family when Gelena was 18 years old, she agreed to marry Oleg. The wedding took place in the year. A few months later, the newlyweds moved to the Amur Region. The family life of the young couple was difficult. They had to live in a cramped house with very meager earnings. But the lovers were happy. Oleg Anatolyevich was a very sociable person, loved music. The man loved to sing under the guitar, it was not by chance that he was a soloist in an ensemble at a military school. Oleg Anatolyevich was a wonderful father. The man loved to study and encouraged children's interest in science.

Together with his son and daughter, the pilot went to choose school textbooks. The eldest daughter of the hero has long grown. The girl chose the specialization "Clinical Psychology". She took place at the St. Petersburg university. In honor of the hero, monuments in Lipetsk were erected, in the aviation garrison of Zazhaevka and in Syria at the Russian air base Khmeimim.

In honor of the pilot, three personalized scholarships were established for students of the Altai boarding school. In this educational institution, children are given initial flight training.
