Squirrels are a genus of small rodents of the Belish family. The genus includes about 30 different types that inhabit almost the entire planet from Asia to North America. The squirrels are very nimble and immense curious animals about our pets. Each visitor who was delayed by their aviary becomes an object of squirrel attention. Our squirrels are friendly and quite well coexist with guinea pigs with which the aviary is divided in the summer.

Pregnancy in the female lasts up to 38 days, up to 10 blind tiny squirrels are born. Mother Belka feeds them with milk for up to 50 days.

The sexual age of the squirrel is 9 months. In conditions of wildlife, protein is already considered to be outdated at 4 years old, however, in captivity, the life of its life increases to 12 years. The number of these animals is high, so extinction in the coming years does not threaten them. Interesting facts about proteins: Squirrels are the most clean among rodents: males often spend more time to care for themselves than females.

Squirrels have excellent sense of smell: the male smells the female smell at a distance of 1.5 kilometers. Newborn squirrels weigh only 30 grams. Despite harmony, in 7 days the protein is able to eat the amount of food equal to its own weight.
