Fly Pictures Biography
Updated: He became famous for original posters with beautiful women and exquisite floral ornaments. Also Alongs Mukha also created a cycle of monumental paintings glorifying the homeland. He entered his name in the history of design: he invented extraordinary jewelry and designed interiors. The construction of the Cathedral of St. Vita in Prague ended ended shortly after the installation of the grandiose stained glass window according to the sketch of this master.
Alfons Mukha. This is the historical region of the Czech Republic, which at that time belonged to the Austrian Empire. The artist’s childhood passed in a rather poor family: his father served as a small official and raised six children. The boy was able to get school thanks to talent for music: he sang in the church choir, which gave the right to study in the gymnasium.
But drawing attracted him more. After the gymnasium, the young man decided to enter the Prague Academy of Arts, but did not manage to pass the exam and even received advice to choose another lesson. Soon his artistic talent was noticed: the summer artist was called to Vienna to create scenery for capital theaters. Unfortunately, this career ended with a tragedy: in the year, a terrible fire occurred in the ringthera, a person who claimed life.
Among the dead were the colleagues of the fly. The shocked artist returns to provincial Moravia almost without money. Working as a portrait, he gets acquainted with Count Kuen-Belasi Eduard Khuen-Belsi and receives an offer to engage in decorating his family castle. In the future, the count patronized the artist for several years and helped to receive a professional education.
Together with the couple, Kuen-Belasi Alfons Mukha visited Italy, then he studied at the Munich Academy of Arts for two years and, finally, arrived in Paris in the year. The training on this ended, and work began. The artist painted posters and postcards, illustrated magazines, and over time, more serious book publications. Once she urgently needed new posters: the option ordered in advance did not impress.
Before the New Year holidays, no one wanted to work. Only a fly came to the printing house, and in just one night he made a draft version of the future masterpiece. When the poster to the play "Gismonda" appeared on the streets, the fly woke up famous. The posters for the performances of Sarah Bernard over time, the artist became so popular that the concept of “woman of a fly” appeared in society - a luxurious, graceful and sensual beauty.
In addition to the posters, the painter created advertising posters and collaborated with the famous jeweler Georges Fouquet. The latter was interested in an amazing bracelet invented by a fly for the poster of the play "Medea".
Soon, the artist’s fantasy was embodied in gold. The jewelry was called "Rosa Hands", and new sketches followed it.
